Close to town however made reservation in January and was supposed to have a back in space away from the highway, noise, and campground traffic. Somehow, reservation was changed to a pull through right beside the entrance sign, shuttle pick up, playground, and highway. Very noisy stay. Wouldn’t recommend unless for convenience to town.

Very accommodating and kind staff. Really enjoyed the cabin and overall great experience! Some noisy neighbors but nothing too bad! Really grateful I could bring my dogs!

We love KOA campgrounds bc they are consistently well maintained, friendly staff, and great amenities for families. There is a fair amount of road noise at this csmoground.

Had a backin site on the river and it was great. The staff were polite and friendly, Easy access to the town and activities. This is definitely a return to campground.

Stayed in spot 49 and could not get wifi, the staff told me that the sites further out do not get wifi. I need to get work done, get secure wifi to all sites. Signs posted read 10pm the dumpsters will be locked do to bears. At 920pm I went to put my trash out and they were locked. I asked the front desk and she was rude and said the maint guy left and locked them early. REALLY,did not offer help?

We had the most amazing relaxing time being here. We were beyond lucky to get in a cabin by the river. The staff was super friendly and the cabins and bathrooms were clean. Can’t wait to come back

Our final night was unexpected, we were lucky to have gotten another night due to someone canceling but the amazing part was, we didn't have to move our site! Again, thank you, thank you, thank you to Selene, Journey, Maria, Carlene, and as we were packing up to leave Todd's wave and friendly smile! Well we thought another miracle, we stayed the first night and not knowing where we would stay the second night.. we called and the group was awesome! Thank you Selene, Journey, Todd, Maria, and Carlene.

Made reservations for 5 sites months in advance. Asked for sites together or near each other. Only received 3 confirmations by emai. Called and was told we had the 5 sites. Upon arrival was initially told we were together. That turned out to be false. We’re assigned 1, 17,16 and 10, 9. 10 and 9 are not near the other three. Very unsatisfied with our stay!!

Seemed to be a lot of standing water in the shower stalls. Showers might need to be upgraded, the space is a little tight. Did like the folding seat. Great idea.

Very noise site next to road with only 30 amp hookup We thought we were getting 50 so we had to be careful for breaker trips Outdoor table was so warped and bowed we could not use We also booked to be next to a coach we were traveling with and were not granted this Too many kids and too many barking dogs!!

Pleasantly surprised with kitchen. Awesome! My 11 yr old loved the pool. We both loved how close to town you are located. We will be back!!

In truth we missed the night of our stay. When we arrived a day late Staff were friendly but charged us to dump and fill up with water. The camp seemed overrun with small children all riding round on three wheeler bikes, with little appreciation for traffic. We were relieved to have avoided the experience and went instead to Steamboat Lake State Park. A delicious experience

Dear KOA Steamboat Springs staff, this was the first KOA we have ever stayed at and we are grateful to have made it since we only had this reservation availalbe. Thank you KOA staff, specifically Carlene, Selene, Todd, Maria, & Journey for all the calls, questions along the way of the ate check-in, and the next day for all your help!

Great - though could have been better. Would be great to have an option to rent linen and towels & we hired the bikes, but were limited to the paved parts of the campground - so not really great - would have been great to be able to access a trail with them. Would be great to havea trail/sidewalk linking yourselves to the bowling alley....small things, but would have made a big difference.

The campground was nice lots to do for the kids. I gave only 4 stars because of the bathrooms the shower stall while I was showering the water was around my ankles and not draining which is super gross.

This KOA is conveniently located just west of town and the free shuttle actually has a stop in the campground making it supper convenient to go into town. Can't wait till next near when the improvements on the island will be complete with nicer RV sites!

Nice park with good amenities. Restrooms/showers were clean showers were a bit small. Good location just outside of town. Wifi was weak but they said they were getting ready to improve it.

We enjoyed being at the Steamboat Springs KOA. This was the first stop for our new travel trailer and the facility was just right for having a restful stop after a long day of driving.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabin I stayed in was clean. The grounds were clean. Unfortunately, the river was unavailable to wade in or for swimming, however, a bear rambling through the campground every night was exciting! We have stayed here 3 times. We love the Steamboat Springs KOA.

I was only there overnight. Staff was extremely friendly. Adam In Particularly went above and beyond. I was picking up a hiker from the CDT due to forest fire. I was very concerned. He looked up the info and called me back on best approach etc….

We had a nice cabin, and I was thankful for the fan provided because it was over 90 during the day. I didn’t love all the people walking basically right in our site to access the river, which was supposed to be off limits because of low water. The pool was a refreshing bonus. The hosts were not rude, but many of them seemed a little unhappy or overwhelmed. I just didn’t get that super welcome

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
