We just spent one night in a camping cabin. What I likes was the sound and view of the river flowing by. Slept well!

I love this location; can't be beat. In addition to that, they have one of the friendliest most professional staff I have encountered! I am especially grateful to Bob, Journey and Adam for treating me with such kindness after I made an error and going the extra thousand miles regarding my stay. I am truly blown away! I have basically reccomened this location to ALL my friends. You're the best

I had a wonderful relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly nice. Stayed in a cabin on the river - thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the boaters, fishermen, and listening to the water.

We stayed in Cabin K2. It was absolutely incredible from the view of the mountains to the side of the water rushing by. The staff as very friendly and compassionate. They even had a goodie bag for my dog. Additionally, they took the time answer questions we had regarding the renovations taking place on the tent side of camp. We had camped here previously. Would highly recommend.

Had a good stay. KOA is well equipped and has nice amenities. Staff is friendly. Bathroom was clean. The location is fantastic, close to the river and overlooking the mountains. Only issue was, heater was not working as expected in the cabin. It was chilly in the morning.

This is a great place to take the family! Clean cabins, lots to do, and super friendly staff! You can tell the the new management takes pride in making every experience a great one. Robert and Selene could not have been more accommodating. Journey and Cindy were amazing as well! I was surprised at how well stocked and reasonably priced the camp store was. We will definitely be back!

Such a great view from the cabins along the river!! Beautiful scenery that made it hard to want to leave. Very friendly staff and can’t wait to see what the island looks like when finished! Clean bathrooms and nice that shuttle bus runs into town and runs very frequently. Enjoyed the nice outdoor furniture that came with the cabin was a nice touch!

The Steamboat koa is great because it is pretty close to town. It is on the free busline so you can get into town quickly and easily and not worry about parking in town :) The cabins on the river are cute! They have great views of the river and mountains from your very own porch swing. Enjoyed it.

My best advice if you are renting out a cabin from Steamboat Springs Colorado is that you report anything you see right away on the cabin. There was pee stains on the mattress, water leaking from the toilet as well as some signatures in the bathroom. I was charged the damaged fee. Just accused of the damaged. My teenager took snaps of the cabin but unfortunately not the bathroom for proof.

The cabin was so clean and so cozy, we stayed on colder days and the heater in the cabin kept us warm all night! The view was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We were the first to see bears in the campground this season, when we told the kind woman at the front office the entire staff immediately jumped on top of putting signs up and locking things down! We will definitely be back soon!

Under the bunk bed in the cabin we stayed in (with our puppy) there was some kind of sticky substance on the wood on the outside wall, which our puppy kept trying to eat! It was disgusting. We had to move one of the mattresses under the bed so she would't get at it. Please check your cabins a bit more diligently to clean up these kinds of messes. Thank you so much. kathy

My girlfriend and I had a great stay. The cabin was warm and the beds were comfy. The deck was big enough to cook food on. Plenty of space to enjoy the Yampa river and walk off a home made breakfast. The bathrooms were spacious and the showers were nice and hot.

Stayed at this KOA during The COVID. We appreciated their abiding by the mask requirement. Beyond that it was a well cared for facility. Being Steamboat in the winter the snow was present but there were paths everywhere, trails to take the dogs, (and doggy cleanup stations readily available). The cabin was well stocked, clean and warm for the below zero temps. Local buses came directly to the camp

Staff neither warm nor welcoming like our cabin. Two credentialed emotional support animals but were charged for their stay. Woman explained only service animals are exempt, which is understandable. I mentioned KOAs had always waived fees, and she became VERY RUDE. We later realized hospitality was non-existent which IMO makes/breaks a KOA. Our cabin was cozy! Women's restroom=gross / Men's=fine.

We were only able to stay for one night but it was great. We rented a small cabin and it had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be returning for a longer period of time!

The cabin was great! We loved having heat, the small kitchen and cookware. It took us a while to figure out the stove top, so maybe explain that part to future guests, because we didn't understand how it worked at first.

Very easy to check in and out. Cabin was clean, campground was organized and tidy. Furniture in cabin could use improvement. Other than that, everything else fell into place nicely. Thank you KOA of steamboat.

Bathroom was very clean when we arrived, however, by the end of the 2 days we were there the toilets had paper towel overflowing from 3/4 of them, the floor was soaking wet, and the showers had hair all over them. Pretty unappealing. But our cabin was very clean and, in my opinion, better than any other KOA cabin we’ve stayed at (better heater, cleaner). Thank you!

I stayed in one of the little cabins by the river. The aspen trees on site were basically mostly bare but I imagine when they are green or at peak the campground must be amazingly beautiful. The cabin was very clean. The little heater worked great. I definitely want to come back! There is a small amount of highway noise.

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
