Extremely busy KOA. River front tent sites are closed for renovation. Back-in sites next to trailer park are overpriced for what they are. People need to pick up after their animals. This was our fourth visit to this KOA and likely the last.

EVERY employee we had contact with was over the top kind and helpful. Adam and Tim went out of their ways to help us being first time everything here. Will 100% come back and recommend this campground!

Lovely campground with beautiful river going through. Small and quiet with a cute downtown not far. We would definitely come back and stay longer!

Right night to the highway so it's loud - lots of big trucks/etc. On the plus side though - great service, hot showers, good bathrooms, good WiFi (had issues one day though with a bad connection).

I would give Steamboat Springs KOA 100 stars if it were available. The people here are so attentive to your every need. The RV sites are very clean, the showers, WIFI, and free Cable were great additions. Beautiful scenery too. We highly recommend .

Too crowded...We arrived about 11:30 with checkin at 2:00. Disappointed that there wasn't a place we could park our rig and use the laundry services and showers before check-in time. $60 for a night was waaaayyy too expensive... We won't stay again..

The Steamboat Springs KOA is one of the better ones that I have stayed at… It is clean there’s plenty of room and the rest rooms are as close to immaculate as you can get for a campground

Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. Love the walking path around the lake. Back in site with patio was spacious and private. We will stay here again.

Reserved 7 months ahead and even called and asked for shade. We had not even the slightest shade and it was right up against the a very busy highway. A horrible site.. The staff were all very nice.

check in was easy, thefront desk staff is excellent. We didn't have cable TV at our site which was a little upsetting for my spouse, but I love the cheap seats in the back row. Great peaceful night. Thank you Steamboat KOA.

We had an excellent stay! Todd, did a wonderful job of troubleshooting our TV issues. The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable about local areas to explore.

Unfortunately we got a site near the road so needed earplugs to sleep. There are are queiter sites but the campground was full when we stayed. KOA service was the usual high standard.

Great stay with fun activities for the kiddo. Could hear the road noise when we were outside, but it wasn’t bad or overwhelming. Didn’t hear it at all while inside out camper.

We had a great trip staying in a tent on an RV site. Kids loved pool and mini golf. We will definitely be back!

The staff at the KOA was outstanding. The campers were a little close together but the cleanliness of the facility and the staff make up for the closeness of the neighbor campers.

Unless you check a map of where your site is ahead of time, you may not get what you are expecting. We were in a spot that felt like it was a later add on when they ran out of spots. Small vans were given the large pull thru sites for one night while we were shoved in tight to a back up against the fence. We made our reservation months ahead for 3 nights. Staff was friendly, pool looked nice.

We had a great stay. The staff from the very first moment we arrived was very accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond with every interaction. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness. We will definitely stay here again.

Aug 16-20, 2021 Stayed 4 nights, first 2 by the road (Hi-way 40) and for last 2 was moved to slot on the creek - primo! Neither slot had a dump but there is one for general use. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, bathroom/shower/grounds kept nice and clean. And, there is a shuttle that runs into town every 20 minutes all day long. Very convenient! We were in 25 ft travel trailer.

Has site 3 right on the river. Great neighbors, even with a rainy, cool evening. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Something affected the water supply in the evening and the entire campground had no water for a while, which made us miss our showers. We last early to get on the road for Oregon and the dumpsters were locked for bear prevention, so we couldn’t get rid of our garbage.

Camped in a muddy spot right next to a highway that was busy all night. We are just not used to being so close to neighbors and had no shelter, which we like. Picnic table was old and splintery. Toilets and showers clean. Pool looked nice. I think a crowded KOA is not our cup of tea.

Very close to and accessible to downtown Steamboat. Nice amenities - pool, store, showers, etc. Also has river access for dipping your toes, altho not deep enough for actual swimming. Overall, quite nice.

The spots are very close together but they do have nice patios. The grass is more like mowed down weeds. Good location to town.

Three nights. Perfect hospitality. Gracious staff (thanks for picking up, filling and delivering my propane tanks to my camp site, Jim!). Clean and tidy place. Easy access to site. And it’s Colorado!!!!!! What more can you ask for !!!!

The office staff was friendly and helpful! Todd was very helpful getting our trailer backed in to the site. The pool was clean and refreshing.

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
